How do you get 80000 sign ups to test drive a car when the car is still in the factories being made?


This was the challenge BMW gave us.

The solution:

‘BECOME ELECTRIC’ - Virtual Test Drive

The world's first 360 virtual test drive. All potential customers were able to have a fully immersive experience of being in the car by using just their smartphone. Then they could book their real test drive with one click.&#38;nbsp;
'Become Electric' was a 7 minute short film downloadable as a mobile app, shot entirely from the viewpoint of the driver's seat of a BMWi. It was awarded 2 x Webbys, a one show award as well as many other nominations.

		<description>Enterprise had been established in the US for many years, but it was new to the UK market. This campaign was created to launch them as not just a contender, but a future leader in the UK car rental market.&#38;nbsp;

How could they differentiate themselves? By capitalising on their US background:

Enterprise Rent-A-Car: bringing US customer service (and a complete misunderstanding of British culture) to the UK.
The fully integrated campaign includes TV ads, an episodic digital sitcom, online advertising, print and press.&#38;nbsp;

All hosted in typical American style by Brad Petrowski, (Enterprise Vice President of Awesomeness in Customer Service Negotiations), patiently assisted by his UK colleague Dave Langham-Steed (Divisional Branch Manager, Swindon). 
The look for the brand was intentionally bold and brash, just like Brad. The campaign launched in 2013 and ran for 6 years.

		<description>LEGO Play Unstoppable was a new global brand platform created to widen it’s marketing reach beyond just boys. The aim was to support girls’ creativity and encourage girls to be free to create the worlds they want, from all and any of the LEGO range.
The trickiest part of this campaign was to showcase the big players&#38;nbsp;all together (Disney, Harry Potter, Animal Crossing etc.), while keeping their IPs separate. This took many months of negotiations and creative solutions to get us to a Play Unstoppable commercial that worked for every brand involved.
The campaign launched with two commercials, and led to a comprehensive always-on digital and influencer campaign that will continue for the next few years.

		<description>We launched this campaign for Facebook Portal at a very sensitive time. 
The UK had been in lockdown for four months. A hard time for many, but particularly felt by new parents. Many first time mums had negotiated motherhood without their family and friends around.
This campaign was an acknowledgement of the difficulties they had endured.
TVC
The TVC was originally created for Facebook UK to run in the UK only. The reaction was so positive nationally that Facebook US decided to run it too.

It worked as a playful reminder of a serious subject. The stunt took place in bars around London, but the news spread nationwide as the stunt was talked about on BBC Radio 1, Channel 4 news and the Metro paper.
